Corky Coker Named Chairman of the Collectors Foundation Board of Directors
The Collectors Foundation Board of Directors at its recent fourth quarter meeting enthusiastically elected Corky Coker as its chairman for 2011. Additionally, five new members were elected to the Board. Newly elected Board members include: Matthew Crawford, vintage motorcycle restorer and author of the book Shop Class as Soulcraft; Jim Cozzie, Executive Vice President of RTM Productions; David Madeira, President and CEO of the LeMay Museum; Jim Menneto, Publisher of Hemmings; and Dr. Paul Sable, Professor of Business and collector car enthusiast.

Collectors Foundation Makes $350,000 Commitment to Educational Institutions focused on Collector Car
Economic Pressures on Colleges and Families Prompts Immediate Action from Board of Directors
(Traverse City, Mich June 4, 2010) – The Collectors Foundation has made a $350,000 commitment to four colleges that offer degree programs important to the future of the collector vehicle hobby. Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena, Calif., and the College for Creative Studies, in Detroit, Mich., will each continue to receive scholarship funding for “Future Classic Designers.” McPherson College, McPherson, Kan., and Washtenaw Community College, Ann Arbor, Mich., will receive continuing scholarship support for their strong programs in automotive restoration technology and custom car designs,… Learn more »
